Saturday sipping | A trio of Beijing wine events today

By Jim Boyce | If you seek to do some sipping this Saturday, here is a trio of events to check out. The new Mali Wine Cellar celebrates its opening today. It has relocated in the same complex—SOHO New Town—and will carry the same strong portfolio that has made Mali’s one of the best shops in town. As noted here six weeks ago, expect a bigger venue with a private room, a DIY kitchen, and an area for tastings and classes. Today’s opening is from 3 PM to 6 PM at Building 3-501, SOHO New Town Apartments, 88 Jianguo Avenue (北京市朝阳区SOHO现代城公寓, 3号楼501, 6530-7842).
