By Jim Boyce | Fans of Chinese wine can get some decent deals this month from Pudao. Some dozen labels from four brands–Grace Vineyard from Shanxi and Kanaan, Helan Qing Xue and Silver Heights from Ningxia–have discounts up to 25 percent. That includes Silver Heights ‘Family Reserve’ at 元200 (regular 元275), Kannan Riesling at 113 (regular 元150) and Grace Tasya’s Reserve Chardonnay at 元168 (regular 元220). Given retail prices on some of these bottles are higher at other shops, that makes the deals even better. Word is Pudao, which is linked to veteran distributor Summergate and, in turn, parent company Woolworths of Australia, will stock wines from Tiansai in Xinjiang. Get more details on the sale here.
