The Conrad Hotel in Beijing will pop the cork on its monthly wine club with a tasting of eight sparkling wines on May 23. The event will be held at the hotel’s Whisky Bridge where participants will taste and learn the differences among Cava, Prosecco, Champagne and more.
The event is being organized by Ashley Gao, the hotel’s sommelier and a veteran of the local wine scene given her stints at Chateau Nubes and 1421 Wines.
Gao says the tastings are aimed both at wine lovers and people in the trade who want to see some of the options on the market. She said more tastings are in the worls, including one focused on rosé.
There you have it: May 23 from 3 PM to 6 PM at rmb150 per person. There is only space for 20 participants, thus reservations are advised for those interested in this event. To reserve a spot, contact Gao at 18311170611 or ashley.gao (at) conradhotels.com.
